Understanding the Constitution is essential if we are to know the responsibilities and limits of our government. Therefore, this subject is a standard for all eighth grade students.
Note: You may, or we might, choose different courses from different grade levels if they are more appropriate for your student. CLASS reserves the right to modify course selection based on achievement test scores, course availability, and previous course assignments.

Course Description: This course briefly reviews America’s early history, including the events that resulted in the creation of the Constitution. It then examines the Constitution in detail and studies its basic principles. This course is presented from the perspective of the original intent of the Constitution’s Framers.
Students who complete this course are not eligible to take the textbook version of The Story of the Constitution.
