The easiest way to choose is to go to our Web site www.homeschools.org/viewCurriculum/highSchool.html and use the charts and the Course Worksheet. The available courses are listed on the lower portion of the page, and pre-requisites or other restrictions are described as well.

If, after examining your options, you prefer to have CLASS assign all your courses as we have in the past, we can still perform that service. If you prefer to choose some of your courses and let CLASS fill in the rest, we can do that too. |

In the new High School Choice Plan, you get to choose most of your courses from those which are available, so we thought it would be confusing to talk about “electives” in the traditional sense. Now, we prefer to use the term “credits.” Most of the credits you take will meet requirements in subject areas like English, math, science, theological studies and heritage studies. Also, you will normally have three "open" credits that you can fill with courses from any subject area you like. Instead of charging fees for electives, as in the past, we now simply charge fees for a few courses where the materials cost more than our base tuition can cover. |
