Please pray for Mrs. G. and her family as they try to cope with serious financial problems. One son from this family needs surgery, however, the money is not available at this time. Pray that the Lord would enable this family to raise enough money in order that their basic needs may be met. Pray for the California Supreme Court to overturn the recent appellate court decision that ruled that parents could only home school if they utilized state certified teachers in an environment that was socially acceptable. Ask God to give home educators in California patience and courage in order that they may stand firm in the face of the current threats to their inalienable rights. Remember to pray for a CLASS student who is unwilling to live under authority, and has removed herself from her parent’s home. Pray that the Lord would grant this young student and daughter a spirit of repentance, as well as the wisdom to return to her family and academic studies. Pray for a CLASS student who refuses to finish his schoolwork. He has his heart set on returning to the local government school, and has no interest in growing in godly wisdom. Ask the Lord to help this young prodigal to be directed back to the strait and narrow path of righteousness. Please pray for a swift and productive end to the War in Iraq. It would also be helpful for God’s people to pray that steps would finally be taken to secure the borders of the U.S. Remember to ask the Lord to raise up a new generation of political leaders in the U.S. that will be willing to stand fast in terms of the Word of God. |
