The CLASS customer service phone team receives a steady stream of requests for help and guidance. For example, some of the most common questions that families ask are...

First, it helps to know how CLASS is set up. You can enroll in CLASS at any time of the year, and when you enroll determines which of our quarters will be your beginning and ending quarters. We have four quarters, and the ending dates are October 31, January 27, April 7, and June 16. Since families enroll at different times, your ending quarter may not be the same as that of another family.
We have no rigid submission schedules, and, generally speaking, everything should be fine as long as you have submitted all your work by the ending date of your final quarter. To get the best feedback, however, we don’t recommend waiting until the last moment to submit all your work at once.
There are two kinds of work that you submit to CLASS: tests, and daily work. The course instructions will tell you what needs to be submitted for grading, but we leave it to you to decide when to submit work.
Tests may be submitted throughout the year as you finish them. This enables you to benefit from our QuickScore email reporting and our quarterly report cards sent by mail.
Daily work, the daily exercises the student works through to gain the concepts, is only submitted once—after you complete the course. The course instructions will tell you whether to submit the required work with a Report and Identification Form (R&I), or just the R&I with the grade you have awarded. You, as the teacher, will know how your children are doing as you work with them and grade the daily work.
If you turn in work during a particular quarter, the grades will show up on that quarter's report card. It takes some time to grade all of the work we receive at the end of each quarter, so report cards are usually mailed four to five weeks after the quarter ends. If you do not send any work in during a particular quarter, there is no penalty except that we don’t mail a report card. |

If you need more time, you can purchase up to three extension quarters to finish a grade level. You move through the materials at your own pace and you may re-enroll for the next grade level any time you are ready. |
