A Christian believes that the omniscient and omnipotent God created and sustains all things. It does not surprise a Christian, therefore, that the universe is full of wondrously beautiful and complex animals and plants, and a variety of inanimate objects. After all, would you expect anything less from the creative genius and workmanship of a supremely intelligent and all-powerful Being?
The unbeliever is not so fortunate. Because he says he does not believe in God, he has the unenviable task of replacing the eternal creator God with some impersonal force capable of producing the complex and wonderful world we see. So the unbeliever reaches into his bag and comes up with—the Big Bang—an explosion, for heaven’s sake! How astute. How sophisticated. Uhhh…how ridiculous.
Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit! Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord!
Sincerely,
Mark L. Beuligmann, M.S. Ed.
