Sara, a sophomore from Texas, has desired to be an artist since the age of eight. For the past six years, she has allowed God to guide her paintbrush in order to demonstrate His wonder and mysterious character. Sara finds her inspiration in the beauty of creation, and thanks her family for their love and encouragement when she becomes discouraged with her portraits.
In this piece, entitled Peace Be Still, Sara hopes to portray the Prince of Peace in action when people surrender the storms of life to God, and give Him complete control.

Ethan is fourteen and has been with CLASS since 1995. He lives in a small fishing town on Long Island, New York.
Ethan’s interests include drawing, reading, birding, and skin diving. He hopes to one day write and illustrate his own book. |
